In 2026, Grouse Mountain Resort celebrated its 100th birthday. To mark the occasion, the mountain was given a temporary rebrand - taking inspiration from a century of stories to honour a beloved Canadian landmark.
The branding is centred around the ‘100 Anniversary Celebration’ wordmark - which incorporates elements from both past and present logos.
Throughout the year, the anniversary branding was used across multiple advertising campaigns. Historic and modern day images were used side-by-side to highlight both the storied history and exciting new attractions of the mountain.
To toast the celebrations, Grouse released a limited-edition beer, in collaboration with local brewery North Point. The label design features a collage of iconic visuals, commemorating a century of stories and milestones.
Grouse worked with the Museum of North Vancouver to source memorabilia from throughout the last 100 years. This was then used as inspiration to produce an anniversary merchandise collection, with one unique design for each of the last ten decades.
Experiential graphics give visitors an opportunity to learn more about the history of the mountain.
A dedicated website provided updates on centennial events - along with a historical timeline, and a gallery for guests to share their own photos and memories. Built using Squarespace.
The centre point of the year was a week-long ‘Centennial Festival’, culminating in a series of drone shows above the Vancouver skyline.
